FAQ about the panel

The panel is especially important for an infrared cooker. Our KMG infrared cooker adopts imported black crystal panel. First of all, the panel can withstand up to 700 degrees high temperature to meet the requirements of heat transfer. Secondly, the thermal conductivity of the panel is strong. It can warm up quickly,  rapidly transfer heat and improve our work efficiency. Thirdly, the panel can withstand temperature difference. Hot and cold alternating will not cause surface cracking. Lastly, the panel is impact-resistant. It can withstand 1.8 kilo gram impact. No need to worry about the careless knocking would cause any damage.

Q 1: Is the surface temperature of infrared cooker high?
A: Non-luminous surface of the panel is not hot, you can touch it with your hands. The middle of the red glow is the infrared light and heat permeated from the heating coil.  A hand on the surface is like approaching a fire, and it will feel like it is baking.

Q 2: Does the infrared cooker consume much electricity?
A: No, it is much more energy-saving than gas and induction cooker. Because the gas fire is opened, there is heat energy loss around the stove. And we can not see the magnetic loss of induction cooker. But actually, it will cause some magnetic loss from the inner coil to the pot.  The heating coil of the infrared cooker is sealed. All the energy is giving out from the panel. The heat loss is extremely low.

Q 3: What are the advantages of an infrared cooker compared with an induction cooker?
A: There is no electromagnetic radiation for an infrared cooker, it is harmless to human body. In addition, the light from the infrared cooker is infrared light, it is good for our bodies.

Q4: Are the panels waterproof or oil-resistant? Is it hard to clean?
A: As the micro-crystal panel is integrated moulded, its waterproof and oil-proof performance are very good. You can use neutral detergent to clean the impurities of the panel surface, it will not be damaged. Please feel at ease to use it.

5: Is an infrared cooker suitable for all kinds of pots?
A: There is no requirement for the material of the pots, but it must be a heat-resistant pot. When using ceramic glass pots, it is important to know whether its temperature resistance is more than 800 degrees.
